Legal Essentials – Lunch ‘n Learn

Our guest speaker, Sue Burch, will present by discussion, power point, and handouts on a variety of legal issues that arise for the widowed.
Sue was a district court judge in Guilford County from 2000 – 2020, hearing primarily civil and family law cases. She also served as an Emergency Recall Judge for the state from 2021 until 2024. She holds both an undergraduate and law degree from Wake Forest University, and received training at the National Judicial College in Nevada. Since retiring, Judge Burch serves as a mediator, arbitrator and trial consultant in Greensboro and surrounding counties. She is an avid photographer and videographer. After 24 years of listening to sad stories, she’s intent now on telling happy ones.

The cost is $10 which includes a catered buffet lunch from Achilles Grill. Our meal will be provided at 11:30 AM, with the presentation to begin by 11:50 AM.
